Worthington Trigger Start Propane Torch

Are there any Worthington propane torches that work?

Just an FYI…I have the Worthington version of the torch head pictured below (Worthington bought Bernzomatic). They are great, well made units with good warranties…

What can you do with trigger start torch?

This torch kit is ideal for projects such as large diameter soldering, wood burning projects, brazing and cooking thanks to the continuous flame lock and pressure regulator features. Kit includes Advanced Performance torch head and a 14.1 oz MAP-Pro fulled cylinder. You will need Adobe® Acrobat® Reader to view PDF documents.

Which is the best propane torch for beginners?

Torch BTS-8088 Trigger Start The MR. Torch comes with an auto-ignition system. It is ideal for beginners as it can be turned on and off with a single click. There is also a safety lock to prevent the ignition from turning on by itself. There is a built-in flame lock button as well, so you do not have to keep your hand on the ignition at all times.

Why does my Worthington trigger not ignite?

Usdd it one time and now it will not ignite when the button is pressed. Cannot even light it with a flame. Totally useless. I see the comments about holding it upright, etc. Does not matter how it is held, it don’t work.

This is our second entry from Bernzomatic and it is, to say the least, something of a quirky design. It isn’t, as it might seem at first glance, a modern update of Charlie Chaplin’s walking stick.

Instead, what we have here is a cool mixture of the Multi-Use and hand held models, with a smaller propane torch head at the end of an extended pipe that feeds directly into a smaller propane bottle connected directly to the device.
