When did I buy surge guard 34951 50A?

Bought this Surge Guard 34951 a couple weeks ago and used it for the first time this weekend. Plugged the Surge Guard into the 50 amp side of the power pedestal at a campground and it interrupted the power within about 5 minutes but gave no code readout as to why it interrupted the power.
