If you know what you are getting when you purchase this set it’s actually not too bad. This a cheap full set of tap & die tools.

Despite the low cost, you are getting a 40-piece kit. That translates to 17 tap and 17 die bits, a pretty useful number of sizes. What you are not getting, however, is premium construction. Pretty standard steel has been employed, which means they are fine for plastic and very thin metals but will struggle to get through the tougher stuff like iron or steel alloys.

Still, allowing for the extremely low price it’s hard to be too critical. Pick these up if you only work with softer materials, and don’t expect them to cut through titanium. KYou have a decent set of tap and die tools for a very, very reasonable price.
